The 2015 CrossFit Games season officially begins on February 26th with the one and only, CrossFit Open. Over the course of 5 weeks CrossFit HQ will release 5 WODs specifically designed to challenge athletes across all domains of fitness. Are you the strong enough? Fast enough? “Gymnasty” enough? Have you worked hard enough? It’s your opportunity to put days, months, and years of hard work to the test.
The best thing about the Open, it’s for everyone, all over the world. It isn’t all about the elite athletes anymore. With an Rx, Masters, Teen and a NEW Scaled division we all get to test how far we’ve come since the year before.
Engraved in our DNA as human beings, as athletes, as competitive men and women, there is this innate desire to be a better version of our self. We want more. We want to look better. Be stronger, more lean. We want to improve our level of fitness. Let’s be honest, some of us are the people who want to look good naked and use CrossFit as a means of getting there. Am I right or am I right!? Use the Open as a stepping stone, another tool to help you get there!
Every week we will gather around for the BIG WOD reveal and the day after we’ll throw down with some of our best friends, experiencing what it feels like to push past limits you never knew existed. There will be sweat, there will be PRs. Weaknesses will be exposed and overcome.
After every WOD you will look over to your neighbor, chalk in hair or ripped up palms, feeling a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction. You did it. We did it together.
